Proposal for School Shuttle Management System
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
This project is to prepare a presentation as a proposal for School Shuttle Management System.
The system would cater to multiple schools in a given school district. There are atleast 3 classifications of schools in each district they are Elementary School, Middle School, K8 & High School. There are assigned routes for each shuttle in a school district. Shuttles operate 5 days a week from Monday through Friday. Shuttle starts the day by picking up High School Students from their homes and drop off at their High School. Once complete, the same shuttle will pickup Elementary school students from their homes and drop off at their Elementary School and then Middle. The same process repeats in the Afternoon in the same order by picking up the kids from school and dropping at homes.
The proposed solution will have the following capabilities.
1. Ability to predict driver assignments to shuttles.
2. Manage shuttle assignments to routes.
3. Ability to manage Shuttle disruptions due to driver unavailability or any unexpected shuttle issues.
4. Ability to extend shuttling of students through other mediums like Uber, Lift
5. The Solution will be extensible to handle further transportation solutions.
6. Ability to maitain Audit for shuttle servicing, driver scheduling, route assignments & kids tracking when using alternative transportation.
The proposal will be backed up by relevant data. That means if we prepare few reports by using data that can be gathered from existing in-use systems.
