Custom RFID Reader/Writer programming
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I'm seeking an engineer experienced in RFID technology, specifically with RC522 13.56MHz modules and STM32 Boards.
Our requirement is not for just encoding tags but rather make a custom reader /writer based on our requirements.
You will be provided with required hardware and you will have to program the micro controllers and write application meeting the requirement.
These hardware needs to be returned to us and documentation and guidance needs to be provided in order to how to make more readers using same boards and program them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programming an RFID reader and writer
- Working on RFID boards
- Ensuring 13.56MHz reading and writing capabilities
- Facilitating integration with other systems
Scope of Work for Project –
1. Configuring RC522 and STM32F103C6T6 module and board
2. Providing interface GUI for both reading and writing on 1k Mifare RFID cards.
3. Interface will have provision to define to read or write in any sector or a particular sector of the card.
4. Feature to read data between a particular set of symbols in a particular sector to make reading faster.
5. Existing RFID cards with us should be read by the reader and a card encoded using the writer programmed by the freelancer shall be read by the existing readers.
6. Knowledge transfer of code and how to program or configure the boards and modules will be given
7. Any hardware purchased or supplied for this project shall be returned after completion of project.
8. In interface it should show which sector the data is written on.
9. Readers shall be plug and play and act as HID input in the text field like a keyboard.
10. No external power supply should be required for the reader or writer.
11. Reader and writer should be compatible with Win 7 / 10 /11
12. No dependency on third party licenses. (no license shall be purchased separately for this).
13. Code of GUI and interface will be provided and IP rights of same will be of company.
On scanning the cards on notepad using existing readers, we are getting following input -

a six digit code between semi colon and question mark
Project needs to be completed in a weeks time at a max after the project is awarded. Please quote your proposals in accordance with that.
Ideal candidates should have:
- Extensive experience with 13.56MHz RFID technology
- Proficient programming skills
- Ability to work with hardware
- Strong problem-solving skills for seamless system integration.
