Student Revit Structural Modeling Help

Job ID: 40359696

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I’m working on a class project in Revit and keep getting stuck when it comes to structural modeling—especially placing and adjusting beams and columns so they behave correctly in different views and schedules. I’d like someone who can jump into my existing file, spot what I’m doing wrong, and then walk me through the right workflow so I understand the “why” as well as the “how.”

Ideally, we’ll screen-share while you demonstrate best-practice beam and column creation, proper family selection, and alignment/connection techniques. I’m using the current Revit desktop release, so please be comfortable with its interface and structural tools.

Deliverables I’m looking for:
• A cleaned-up version of my Revit file with correctly modeled beams and columns
• A brief written or recorded explanation of the key steps you took, so I can reference it later

If you’ve taught or mentored other students before, let me know—that style of clear, patient guidance is exactly what I need.
