Structural Drawings/Plans: Carport & Poolhouse - ready for structural engineer certification
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I am building the following structures and would like someone to provide me with structural plans/drawings that I can take to a structural engineer tlto get signed off.
• A 14 m × 6 m carport
• A 9 m × 6 m poolhouse/shed
The carport will use a steel frame and colorbond skillion (lean-to) roof. The poolhouse shed will use steel frame raised floor, colorbond steel skillion roof and steel wall frame with colorbond cladding for 3 walls with the front wall having timber cladding instead of colorbond steel. The
internal structure will include a shower, toilet and 3 separate storage rooms.
I have already sketched the basic layouts and key elevations; those sketches need translating into professional structural plans with all critical details—member sizing, footings, connections, bracing, tie-downs, and any relevant schedules. Each drawing set must be dimensioned, clearly annotated, and ready for an engineer’s review without extra rework.
I need these plans to be ready for structural engineer certification.
If you offer an additional option to have the plans certified locally then please provide me with a separate price.
Deliverables
- Structural GA plans, elevations, and sections for each structure
- Connection and footing details appropriate to a steel-frame, flat-roof design
- Material & bolt schedules and any load assumptions noted on drawings
- Source files (DWG or Revit) plus print-ready PDFs
If you work in AutoCAD, Revit, or a comparable BIM tool and have a track record producing engineer-approved steel building plans, I’d like to see examples. My sketches and site information are ready to send as soon as we agree the brief and milestones.
