6-Storey Building Structural Plans
Budget: £750 – £1,500 GBP
I am finalising the architecture for a new six-storey building (1 500 m² per floor, 9 000 m² total) and now need a complete structural package so the job can move into permitting and tender.
Scope
• Produce general-arrangement plans for all six floors, clearly indicating column grids, beam/slab layouts and key dimensions.
• Prepare at least two transverse and two longitudinal sections that tie the whole frame together.
• Detail all reinforcement: slabs, beams, columns, walls and stairs, with bar diameters, spacing and bending schedules ready for fabrication.
• Design a shallow foundation system sized for the imposed loads; include footing plans, sections and reinforcement details.
• Supply structural calculations that demonstrate compliance with the governing code you work to (Eurocode, ACI or equivalent).
• Compile a concise material and construction specification.
Output formats
• Editable CAD files (DWG or Revit) plus print-ready PDFs.
• Bar-bending schedules in XLS or CSV.
• Calculation report in PDF.
I have no mechanical or electrical scope at this stage—this contract is purely structural. If you have questions about loads, soil data or preferred codes, let me know so I can provide them promptly. I’m looking for an engineer who can turn around a detailed, build-ready package and remain available for a round of clarifications with the architect and contractor afterwards.
