Split-Level Mudroom Design Blueprints
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m adding a compact entryway/front porch that serves as a mud room to my split-level home in Putnam County, NY and need complete design documentation to move it from idea to permit set. The look should be unmistakably Traditional so it blends with the house, yet feel fresh and practical for daily use.
Core elements I want integrated are built-in storage cabinets for shoes and bags and a comfortable bench seat under the window line; I would also like a front porch/seating area intergreated that doesnt impact the widnows or obstruct the basement windows. The floor finish throughout the new room should be a durable laminate that mimics hardwood and ties into the existing lower-level flooring.
What I’m looking for you to deliver
• Concept plan with two layout options that solve traffic flow from driveway to interior stairs.
• Scaled floor plan, front and side elevations, and roof tie-in details suitable for a local permit submission.
• A simple 3D view or rendering so I can visualize cabinetry proportions and exterior massing.
• Material and fixture schedule limited to the cabinetry, bench, flooring, trim profiles, and exterior cladding so my local builder can price it quickly.
• PDF set plus editable source (DWG, Revit, or SketchUp—your choice).
