San Diego JADU Permit Plans
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I already hold a fully-scaled PDF set that shows the current layout; what I need is a drafter who understands the local permitting process to convert those files into a clean, code-compliant plan set.
The scope is straightforward: show the installation of a dishwasher, two-burner cooktop, and vent hood in the kitchenette, and clearly relabel the former bedroom as “dry storage.” Everything else on the drawings stays exactly as built, so most of your time will go into accurate redrafting, annotation, and compiling the sheets required by the county.
Because these plans will go straight to Plan Check, I’ll rely on you to format sheets to San Diego standards (title block, scale, north arrow, occupancy notes, and the usual JADU zoning data). AutoCAD, Revit, or similar is fine—as long as the final PDF set looks professional and meets county submittal specs.
Deliverables
• Editable CAD file of the updated floor plan
• PDF plan set ready for county upload (cover sheet, floor plan, keyed notes, and any required code summaries)
• One revision cycle included for possible Plan Check comments
