Revit Timber Structure Modelling

Job ID: 40151128

Budget: $10 – $100 AUD

I’m developing a small timber-framed house and I want the structural system built natively in Revit, not imported from another platform. The model has to go beyond basic framing: every stud, beam, joist, plate, truss and their hardware connections must be present so that I can take it straight into structural analysis and shop-drawing production without re-work.

Scope
• Create a single Revit model (.rvt) that contains all timber structural elements with fully modelled connections, levels, and grids already coordinated.
• Name and organise families, types and views logically so schedules generate cleanly.
• Provide clear, clash-free geometry that allows section cuts anywhere in the building.

Deliverables
1. Revit 2024 (or later) project file with detailed timber structure and connections.
2. A printable PDF set of key plans/sections showing that everything is captured.
3. A short text summary noting any assumptions you had to make.

Acceptance
I’ll open the file, cut random sections, and check that all members and connectors appear where expected. Dimensions must match the supplied architectural envelope; no “dummy” solids in place of families.

If you’re confident with timber detailing inside Revit and can turn this around quickly, let’s get started.
