Revit 3D Stair Core Detailing
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I need a precise 3D/BIM model of a commercial stair core created in Autodesk Revit (AutoCAD files for reference are available if you prefer to start there). The brief calls for detailed structural elements only—no architectural finishes—so concentrate on the concrete and steel that make the core stand up.
Must be English speaking and available for Teams meetings.
Scope
• Model stair treads, risers, landings, and intermediate platforms at a level suitable for coordination with structural engineers and fabricators.
• Handrails and guardrails are not required on this pass; feel free to flag clashes if you spot them, but don’t model them.
• All geometry must be true-to-size and properly hosted so we can slice clean sections and export shop drawings without re-work.
Deliverables
• Native Revit (.rvt) file with families, levels, and grids intact.
• A set of coordinated 2D views (plan, section, elevation) ready for annotation.
• Exported DWG or IFC on request once the model is signed off.
Acceptance
The model will be reviewed in Revit 2024. I’ll mark up any issues; two revision rounds are included in the schedule. Sign-off happens when the core aligns with the structural grid, clear headroom is maintained, and all landings meet code dimensions provided in the spec sheet.
If you have recent commercial stair core samples, send a couple of screenshots so I can gauge fit and finish.
