Revit Scan-to-BIM Modeling Existing Facility AP_HS

Job ID: 40438094

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I have a complete point cloud capture (Autodesk ReCap) and matching 360° photos of an existing facility, but there are no legacy drawings or existing models available.

I’m looking for support converting the facility into an accurate Scan-to-BIM model in Revit for upcoming renovation planning. The project includes only one interior mechanical room; all other systems are primarily exterior and roof-mounted.

Scope of Work

Develop existing-condition models for the following disciplines:
1.Architectural
2.Mechanical (HVAC)
3.Electrical
4.Plumbing / Piping
Level of Detail:
Intermediate LOD focused on clean and accurate geometry, including key renovation-related components such as:
1.Ductwork
2.Major mechanical equipment
3.Conduits
4.Plumbing fixtures
5.Piping systems
6.Relevant accessories

The priority at this stage is geometric accuracy. Detailed asset information, tagging, and highly specific fabrication-level families can be addressed in a future phase.

Expected Deliverables

A single, well-organized Revit model (*.rvt) developed directly from the point cloud
Linked point cloud correctly positioned and clipped
Discipline-specific worksets and/or views for model organization
A brief modeling report identifying any low-density scan areas, assumptions, or missing information encountered during modeling.

Please include in your response:

Estimated cost for the full scope
Estimated timeline from kickoff to final delivery
Brief summary of your Scan-to-BIM experience
Sample screenshots or references to similar projects, if available

I’m ready to share the ReCap files and 360° photo links as soon as we agree on terms, and I’ll be available for quick clarifications throughout the project.
