Revit Architect for London Flats

Job ID: 39934481

Budget: £1,500 – £3,000 GBP

I’m seeking a London-based architect to join our team for the next three months and take the lead on a new block-of-flats development. The primary task is designing the structure from concept through detailed documentation in Revit, delivering a clean, modern aesthetic.

What I need from you
• Build and maintain a single, coordinated Revit model that captures plans, elevations, sections, and schedules for a multi-storey residential block.
• Develop clear architectural details—door/window sets, junctions, fire-stopping, and façade treatments—ready for consultant coordination.
• Produce a complete drawing package (GA drawings, typical apartment layouts, key sections, and detail sheets) that can move straight into planning and tender.
• Attend periodic site or office meetings in London to resolve issues quickly and keep the model aligned with structural, MEP, and cost inputs.
• Maintain tidy file organisation and drawing standards so the handover at project close is seamless for the wider design team.

About the project
• Focus: Designing new structures—this is a ground-up build rather than a refurbishment.
• Responsibility scope: Architecture. You’ll drive the overall form, layout, and detailing, working closely with external engineers and interior designers.
• Style: Modern—clean lines, efficient layouts, and contemporary material palettes that meet current London Plan and Building Regs requirements.

Ideal experience
• Expert-level Revit skills, including worksets, families, phasing, and coordination with IFC/DWG links.
• Proven record detailing residential or mixed-use buildings in the UK.
• Comfortable interpreting UK standards (Approved Documents, NHBC, BS/EN codes) and weaving them into practical construction details.
• Strong communication for consultant liaison and clear markup responses.

Deliverables by project end
1. Fully coordinated Revit 2024 (or later) model.
2. PDF and DWG drawing set suitable for planning submission and cost planning.
3. Detail library and legends for contractor reference.
4. Brief written handover notes outlining outstanding items and next steps.

If you can slot in quickly, keep momentum high, and produce crisp, buildable details, I’d love to review your portfolio and availability.
