I’m assembling a complete set of residential permit drawings for submission in the United States and need an experienced CAD drafter who can create them from scratch. The scope covers structural, electrical and plumbing plans, and every sheet must be prepared to the standards local jurisdictions expect for single-family projects.

Your background should match the technical demands of the job: a degree in Architecture or Engineering and at least five years of proven field experience producing permit sets—no unrelated design or marketing work, please. Because these are new drawings, you will be laying out everything: title blocks, notes, schedules, details, and coordinated plans that align with IRC, NEC and IPC requirements. I work on an hourly basis, so clear time tracking and steady communication are essential.

Deliverables that will signal completion of each milestone:
• Fully annotated CAD files (AutoCAD or Revit) for structural, electrical and plumbing disciplines
