Residential MEP BIM Model Creation
Budget: $10 – $100 AUD
I already have a full set of detailed architectural drawings for a new residential build and now need that information translated into a coordinated BIM model covering every major MEP discipline—HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. I’ll share the DWGs/PDFs (and a clean Revit architecture file if you prefer) as soon as we start; your job is to layer in the complete services package and keep everything clash-free.
Please build in Revit (2020 or later) and follow standard family naming, level management, and parameter conventions so the file drops straight into our wider coordination workflow. Fixtures, pipe and duct sizing, cable trays, panel schedules—everything should be modelled accurately from the documents I supply.
Deliverables
• One native Revit (.rvt) file with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems fully modelled and coordinated against the architectural shell
• A set of exported 2D sheets (PDF) for quick stakeholder review—plan, section, and riser views at the very least
• IFC or NWC for clash detection, if you already have Navisworks in your toolchain
I’ll review the model for element placement, system connectivity, and naming consistency; once those boxes are ticked, the milestone is released. If you’re confident in residential MEP coordination and keep a tidy Revit file, let’s get started.
