Residential Framing & Roof Drawings
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m finalising permit plans for a single-family home and now need structural drawings that cover only the Framing and Roof.
Scope
• Translate my existing architectural layout into clear, code-compliant structural sheets.
• Size all members, beams, rafters, joists and connections.
• Provide roof load calculations and a concise summary of design assumptions.
• Include notes, schedules and details suitable for city submission (PDF + editable source).
Expectations
– Drawings must follow the latest residential standards for wood construction in my region (IBC / IRC or equivalent).
– Use industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or comparable tools.
– Deliver a tidy layer structure so future revisions are straightforward.
I respond quickly to questions and can supply DWG/PDF references as soon as we start. Looking for an engineer or drafter who can turn this around within a reasonable timeframe and is open to one round of minor revisions after inspector feedback.
