Residential Fire Permit Plan Revision
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a complete set of residential plans that now require a clean-up redraw and an update to satisfy the latest fire-permit review. The whole building is covered in the drawings, so every sheet will need to reflect the revisions.
The fire reviewer’s notes focus almost entirely on smoke and fire-alarm placement and the supporting code language. Besides adjusting the device symbols and wiring paths, the plans must carry the exact verbiage the reviewer cited—call-outs, keynote text, and any code references that demonstrate compliance. No changes were requested for exits or fire-rated assemblies, so the remainder of the layout can stay as is.
What I need from you:
• Redraw or trace the existing sheets in AutoCAD (or Revit if you prefer) so line weights, layers, and title blocks are consistent.
• Insert or relocate all smoke and fire-alarm devices per the marked-up review.
• Embed the prescribed wording on the plans in the locations flagged by the reviewer—legibly and in the same font style used elsewhere.
• Supply a final PDF set ready for re-submission and the original CAD file for my archive.
I will deliver the current PDF set, the fire department’s comment letter, and my CAD title block. Turnaround of the first draft within one week would be ideal; I’ll review and return any last tweaks immediately so we can close this out fast.
