Residential Building Structural Design
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I am developing the full structural scheme for a new residential building and need accurate calculations, clear drawings, and code-compliant details that will satisfy permit reviewers on the first submission. The architectural concept is already fixed; what remains is translating that concept into a safe, economical structure that meets local building codes and seismic/wind provisions.
Preferred workflow includes modelling the frame in ETABS or SAP2000, exporting member forces, and finalising drawings in AutoCAD (or Revit if you prefer). I can supply the architectural plans in DWG and PDF as soon as we agree on the scope.
Deliverables
• Signed structural calculation report (PDF)
• Foundation, framing, and roof plans with sections and details (DWG + PDF)
• Reinforcement schedules and material take-off sheet
• Brief design summary explaining assumptions, load paths, and code references
