Residential Basement Structural Drawings
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I’m starting a new residential build that includes a full basement and I need a qualified structural engineer to turn my architect’s layouts into a complete, building-control-ready drawing package.
Scope
• Foundation, framing, and roof plans with all member sizes, connection details, and notes aligned to current UK Building Regulations.
• A dedicated basement layout showing retaining wall reinforcements, waterproofing strategy, and any temporary works clearly annotated.
• Accompanying structural calculations in PDF and the original editable files (AutoCAD or Revit preferred) so my contractor and the council can review them without delay.
Acceptance
Drawings must be dimensionally coordinated with the architect’s GA, stamped by you (or your chartered colleague), and ready for direct submission to Building Control. I’ll provide the site investigation report, architectural set, and load assumptions as soon as we agree.
