Residential Architecture Detail Design
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I need the initial architectural layout of a residential building translated into a full detailing package that a contractor can build from without guesswork. This means every connection, junction, material transition, and dimension must be clearly resolved and documented.
You will start from the drawings I already have and expand them into coordinated plans, sections, elevations, schedules, and enlarged details as required for permitting and construction. I work in AutoCAD and Revit, so keeping everything in DWG or RVT format (with clean, organized layers and families) will streamline collaboration; PDF sets for easy review are also expected.
Please tell me about your experience producing detailed residential construction documents—especially any projects where your detailing reduced site RFIs or change-orders. Attach a concise sample or two that shows the depth of your detailing rather than broad portfolios; that will help me gauge fit quickly.
Once we agree on scope, I’ll outline any jurisdiction-specific codes or standards you must integrate; otherwise, industry best practice for single-family housing applies.
