Prefab Steel Warehouse Design
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I need a complete structural and architectural design package for a prefabricated steel warehouse that will serve primarily as a manufacturing space. The footprint will fall in the medium range—somewhere between 10,000 sq ft and 50,000 sq ft—so the layout must balance efficient production flow with cost-effective use of steel framing and cladding.
Here’s what I’m expecting:
• A clear concept layout showing work zones, equipment aisles, loading bays, and any required office or utility areas.
• Structural calculations that satisfy local building codes (wind, seismic, snow, or any other relevant loads).
• A detailed 3-D BIM or Tekla/SAP2000 model plus GA drawings for columns, rafters, purlins, and bracing.
• Shop-ready fabrication drawings and a material take-off list so I can obtain quotations without further detailing.
• Foundation recommendations tailored to soil data I will supply.
I’m comfortable with any modern CAD/BIM workflow—AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, or equivalent—so use whichever toolset gives you the fastest, most accurate output. Deliverables should be provided in both editable (DWG/RVT/IFC) and PDF formats.
Final plans have to slot neatly into our manufacturing schedule, so clarity, accuracy, and code compliance are my non-negotiables. If you can turn around revisions quickly and keep lines of communication open, we’re a perfect fit.
