I need a set of clean, fully coordinated MEP HVAC shop drawings for an upcoming project. The architectural and structural backgrounds are already locked, so what I’m looking for is someone who can take those files and generate fabrication-ready drawings that installers can trust on site.
Here’s what matters most to me:
• Accuracy—dimensions, elevations, and clear labeling of all equipment, ductwork, and piping runs.
• Coordination—clashes with structure, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection must be resolved before you issue the final sheets.
• Readability—layouts must be presented in both PDF for quick review and DWG (or Revit) so my team can integrate any last-minute changes.
Typical sheets I expect:
• Plans, sections, and details showing duct sizes, fittings, supports, and insulation specs.
• Equipment schedules with make, model, and connection data pulled from the submittals I’ll provide.
• Annotated isometric or 3-D views where needed to clarify congested areas.
Use whichever combination of AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, or other BIM tools you’re comfortable with, as long as clash detection is part of your workflow. If you’ve delivered shop drawings for comparable commercial or residential jobs, send over a sample page so I can gauge your line weights, annotation style, and overall clarity.
