US Permit Architectural CAD Drafter Needed

Job ID: 40293040

Budget: $2 – $8 USD

I need an experienced architectural drafter who understands the ins-and-outs of preparing permit-ready drawing sets for U.S. jurisdictions. The project involves taking my preliminary sketches and consultant notes and turning them into a clean, code-compliant package that a local building department can review without redlines.

You’ll be translating layout sketches into full floor plans, elevations, building sections, roof plans and a basic site plan, coordinating symbols, title blocks, and sheet numbering so the set reads professionally from cover to details. I work primarily in AutoCAD, so DWG is preferred; if you draft in Revit that’s fine as long as the final output is still a well‐organized AutoCAD set.

To keep the submission queue manageable, please focus your bid on your U.S. permit experience. A concise paragraph describing recent residential or light-commercial permit drawings you’ve completed, the city or county that approved them, and the software you used is all I need to evaluate fit.

Deliverables (PDF + DWG):
• Full permit drawing set ready for city submittal
• Layered, editable CAD files with external references bound
• One round of revisions after initial plan-check comments

I’ll supply all field measurements, hand sketches, and any consultant notes the moment we start so you can jump straight into production.
