Nordic Forest Vacation Houses Design
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a complete architectural concept for a small retreat of 7–10 modern-minimalist Nordic houses nestled in a forest setting. The goal is to create vacation rentals that blend seamlessly with nature while offering a calm, upscale atmosphere. Each unit must feature an open-plan living area and generous floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the surrounding trees and invite natural light. Wrap-around terraces should extend the living space outdoors.
Beyond the private cabins, I want a thoughtfully positioned chill-out area, an outdoor yoga deck, and a sauna to give guests a full wellness experience. The master plan has to show how paths, lighting, and landscaping tie these common zones together without disturbing the forest’s natural flow.
Deliverables
• Site master plan detailing cabin placement, access, utilities, and communal zones
• Individual house drawings: floor plans, elevations, and basic structural sections
• Photorealistic 3D renders (exterior and key interior views) that communicate the modern, clean Scandinavian aesthetic
• Material and color palette board highlighting sustainable wood, stone, and glass choices
• A brief technical statement so a local architect/engineer can take the next steps for code compliance
Feel free to work in the tools you’re comfortable with—Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion, or V-Ray—so long as the final files are editable and printable at standard scales.
