Neoclassical Kitchen Layout Redesign
Budget: €50 – €100 EUR
I’m renovating my kitchen and need a new single-wall layout with an island that respects its existing neoclassical character. The hood and the 60 cm-high tile backsplash must stay exactly where they are, and all new upper cabinetry has to run cleanly to the ceiling.
Key constraints you’ll be working with:
• Wall size: 2825 mm (H) × 3230 mm (W).
• Keep 70–80 cm clear on both sides between the island and the surrounding walls.
• Refrigerator runs floor-to-ceiling on the left-hand side when facing the kitchen.
• The island includes functional cabinetry fitted with storage drawers; leave space in the design so I can decide later whether I want to add a sink or keep it work-surface only.
Lighting direction is already set: pendant fixtures above the island, recessed ceiling cans, and discreet under-cabinet strips to highlight the backsplash. Colour tones should match the reference photo I’ve attached.
What I need from you:
1. A dimensioned floor plan and elevation showing the revised single-wall run, island, fridge tower, and clearances.
2. A quick 3-D or hand sketch that illustrates proportions, cabinet style details, and the island both with and without a sink cut-out.
Deliver the files in PDF plus the native format you work in (SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) so I can pass them straight to my contractor.
If anything in the brief is unclear, feel free to ask before you start; accuracy to the millimetre matters here.
