Modern Residential Building, Pool, and Renovation Design
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I am located in Florida, and planning a phased residential project. I need a full design package including architectural layout, structural calculations, and MEP planning. Final stamped drawings will be handled locally; your role is design and engineering work only.
Scope of Work (Phase 1):
Interior modifications:
Convert existing garage into a gym/living space
Convert existing lanai into conditioned living space
New building design:
50’ x 50’ structure behind the house
Pool and site layout:
Pool placement and integration with existing house and new building
Engineering and calculations:
Structural calculations for buildings (wind load, foundations, trusses, load-bearing walls)
Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) layouts and calculations
HVAC design for new and converted spaces
Site drainage plan for lot including stormwater management
Deliverables:
2D floorplans of existing house modifications + new building
3D renderings/visualizations (optional but preferred)
Engineering calculation reports (structural, HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
Site plan including drainage, grading, pool layout, and building locations
Exported CAD files (DWG, RVT, or compatible formats)
Important Notes:
This does not require permit-ready stamped drawings
Your designs and calculations will be reviewed and sealed by a Florida-licensed engineer
All work must comply with typical residential engineering standards, Florida code references encouraged
Qualifications:
Experience with residential architectural design, MEP layouts, and structural engineering
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent
Ability to produce engineering calculation packages, including loads, HVAC sizing, plumbing, and electrical
Strong communication and ability to iterate quickly
Delivery within 1 month.
