Modern Radial Roof Rafters Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
My 150 m² circular build now needs a modern radial roof designed, complete with a coherent rafter layout that a carpenter can follow without second-guessing angles or spans. The aesthetic is clean and contemporary, and the entire frame must be in wood. If you believe a specific timber species will improve strength, weight, or budget, feel free to recommend it, otherwise use readily available structural lumber as the baseline.
I will provide the floor plan in DWG/PDF, site load assumptions, and the finished roof height. In return I expect:
• Dimensioned roof-plan and rafter drawings (PDF + source CAD) ready for permit and on-site construction
• A 3-D model of the roof geometry (SketchUp, Revit, or similar) for visual checks and clash detection
• Basic span and load calculations demonstrating code compliance for a temperate climate
AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or equivalent BIM/CAD skills are welcome so long as the final drawings are precise and fully annotated. Two-week turnaround is preferred, but let me know what you can realistically achieve.
