Modern Pergola Permit Drawings
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I’m ready to add a 10-ft x 22-ft modern pergola over the existing deck at my cottage just outside Gravenhurst, Ontario. I already have the concept nailed down: it will cantilever from the cottage roof using roof-riser brackets, then extend to cover part of the deck footprint. What I’m missing is a clean, permit-ready set of architectural drawings that show every critical dimension and attachment detail in a way the local building department will approve under the Ontario Building Code.
You would take my sketches and turn them into a coordinated drawing package—plan, elevations, key sections, and connection details—delivered as scalable PDFs (and the CAD/Revit file if you’re drafting digitally). I’m after a crisp, modern look, so the drawings should clearly express straight lines, minimal overhangs, and the light, open feel of contemporary outdoor structures.
Acceptance criteria:
• Fully dimensioned architectural drawings (plan, 4 elevations, 1–2 sections)
• Roof-riser bracket and ledger connection details sized for a timber pergola
• Drawing set formatted for permit submission in Ontario (legal size or ARCH D)
• PDF sheets plus editable source file
If this aligns with your skill set, I’ll share my sketches and measurements so you can start modeling right away.
