Modern Home Interior Design Overhaul
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 AUD
My new house is an empty canvas, and I want every corner to reflect a clean, Modern aesthetic built around calming neutral tones. The scope covers the living room, bedroom and kitchen, taking each space from bare walls to fully furnished, styled, and ready to enjoy.
What I need is a complete design package—from concept to purchase-ready specification. That means mood boards that pin down the look and feel, detailed floor plans to optimise layout and flow, realistic 3-D or photorealistic renders so I can visualise the result, and a curated shopping list for furniture, lighting, soft furnishings and décor that fits the design as well as the available floor area. Sourcing should favour readily available retailers or shippable pieces so implementation is straightforward.
Because the palette stays neutral, texture, light and proportion are especially important; clever layering of woods, stone, metal accents or textiles should keep the rooms warm rather than stark. Storage, cable management and appliance placement must be integrated seamlessly into the design, particularly in the kitchen.
Deliverables will be considered complete when:
• A consolidated mood board per room defines colour palette, finishes and key references.
• Scaled furniture/layout plans and elevations show exact placement for every major piece.
• High-quality renders (minimum 2 angles per room) illustrate daylight and evening lighting scenes.
• A purchasable item list includes product links, prices and lead times, grouped by priority.
All files should be supplied in editable formats (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, or comparable) alongside high-resolution PDFs and JPEGs for quick reference. Regular check-ins over video or chat are fine; as long as feedback is incorporated promptly, timing is flexible.
