Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have already outlined a clear concept for a two-storey, five-bedroom residence with a compact penthouse studio (all rooms en-suite) and I now need an architect to turn that vision into build-ready drawings and visuals.
Core brief
• Modern minimalist language with a clean rectangular massing, flat roof and generous windows for cross-ventilation.
• Face brick will be the dominant exterior finish; other local materials—Nigerian tiles, locally sourced window systems—should be woven in for cost control.
• An open-to-sky courtyard sits at the heart of the first floor. I want this space to feel lush and usable, so please prioritise landscaping and a comfortable seating area there.
• A covered terrace on the upper floor overlooks the courtyard, creating an indoor-outdoor link.
• Bathrooms must be vertically aligned for tight, efficient plumbing runs.
• The penthouse studio functions as a self-contained guest suite with its own bathroom.
Scope of work
1. Schematic floor plans and elevations that honour the layout above.
2. Courtyard and terrace concept drawings showing planting palette and built-in seating.
3. 3D exterior renderings (daytime and dusk) highlighting the brick finish and flat-roof silhouette.
4. Basic structural layout and plumbing stack diagram to confirm feasibility.
Acceptance criteria
• Drawings in PDF and editable CAD/Revit/Archicad format.
• All rooms correctly dimensioned and bathroom stacks aligned.
• Courtyard visuals must illustrate both landscaping and seating.
• At least two rounds of minor revisions included.
