Mid-Rise Office Structure Design

Job ID: 39917889

Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD

I need a full structural package for a commercial office building that will rise somewhere between four and ten storeys. The architectural concept is already fixed; what I am missing are the stamped structural drawings, load calculations and a concise design report that will satisfy both local code officials and my general contractor.

Scope
• Analyse gravity, wind and seismic loads for a mid-rise steel or reinforced-concrete frame (I am open to your recommendation once you have reviewed the site data).
• Optimise member sizes, foundation layout and connection details so the design remains economical without sacrificing safety or future flexibility.
• Produce coordinated drawings in AutoCAD or Revit, along with a calculation set generated from recognised software such as ETABS, SAP2000 or STAAD.Pro.
• Include a brief narrative that explains design assumptions, codes referenced and any value-engineering options you discover.

Acceptance will be based on:
1. Compliance with the latest edition of our local building code and AISC/ACI provisions.
2. A clean clash-free model that reconciles with the existing architectural files.
3. Signed and dated calculations that peers can reproduce.

If this matches your expertise and schedule, tell me how many days you need for the preliminary design and what information you require up front (soil report, architectural DWGs, etc.).
