Industrial Metal Warehouse Design

Job ID: 39941046

Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD

I need a complete design package for a 40’x80’ metal building that will be used strictly for general warehousing. The goal is a clear-span structure that maximizes open floor space, allows efficient forklift movement, and can be erected quickly with readily available steel components.

Here’s what I’m looking for:
• Scaled architectural drawings showing overall dimensions, column spacing (if any), bay widths, and clear ceiling height.
• Structural calculations and framing details that meet local wind, snow, and seismic codes.
• Foundation plan with footing sizes and anchor-bolt layout.
• A concise bill of materials specifying steel members, wall and roof panels, fasteners, and insulation.
• Basic layout suggestions for dock doors, pedestrian access, and lighting runs so electrical contractors have a starting point.
• 3D visualization or rendered elevations to help stakeholders understand the exterior finish and roof pitch.

I already know the site dimensions, zoning, and load requirements; I’ll share those once we start so you can draft accurately from day one. Please use industry-standard software such as AutoCAD or Revit so files are easy to hand off to my fabrication partner.

Deliver the first draft within two weeks, then plan on one revision cycle for tweaks before final sign-off.
