Industrial MEP Shop Drawings
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I need detailed shop drawings for the mechanical and electrical systems of an industrial facility. The design work is already underway; what I’m missing are fabrication-ready drawings that translate the consultant’s design intent into clear, clash-free documentation the site crew and fabricators can rely on.
Scope
• Mechanical and Electrical only—no plumbing at this stage.
• All drawings must follow a set of client-specific standards that I will supply once the project kicks off. These override local or international codes where conflicts arise.
• Coordination with the architectural and structural models is essential, so expect to work in a shared BIM environment and flag any clashes you discover.
Preferred workflow
I’m comfortable with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar BIM-capable platforms as long as you can deliver both native files and print-ready PDFs. Layer naming, line weights, and sheet numbering should mirror the template I provide.
Deliverables
1. Coordinated mechanical and electrical shop drawings (plans, sections, and details).
2. Native CAD/BIM files plus plotted PDF sheets.
3. A short change log summarising any design adjustments you’ve made to meet the fabricator’s requirements.
