Industrial Facility Structural Design
Budget: $1,000 – $10,000 AUD
I’m moving ahead with a new industrial facility and need a licensed structural engineer to take ownership of the full structural package. The building will sit within a larger commercial complex, so compliance with local codes and seamless coordination with the civil and MEP teams is critical from day one.
Has to be in Australia.
The scope covers three core tasks:
• Structural design Australia – create stamped drawings and models for foundations, framing, and any steel or concrete elements. I typically review plans in Revit or AutoCAD, but I’m open to your preferred platform as long as files are delivered in DWG and PDF.
• Load analysis – run detailed calculations for dead, live, wind, seismic, and equipment loads using industry-standard software (STAAD, SAP2000, ETABS, or similar). The final report should clearly tie each load case to its corresponding code reference.
• Safety assessment – provide a written evaluation confirming the structure meets all relevant safety factors and code requirements, along with any recommendations for improvement.
