Industrial Facility BIM Revit Modeling
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a skilled Revit modeler who is comfortable working inside a coordinated BIM environment to turn my existing 2D drawings of an industrial facility into a fully-fledged 3D model. The scope centres on two disciplines: all primary Architectural and structural elements (steel frames, foundations, slabs, bracing, equipment supports) and the full mechanical package (ductwork, piping, HVAC equipment, hangers, penetrations). Electrical work is handled elsewhere, so your focus stays tight on those two areas.
I will supply the annotated plan, section and detail sheets in DWG/PDF along with our BIM execution plan, view templates and shared parameters. From those references you will build a Revit 2023 model to at least LOD 300, maintaining our file naming, work-set and coordinate system conventions so the model drops straight into federated Navisworks without adjustment.
Deliverables
• Native Revit (.rvt) file with clean, clash-free geometry for structural and mechanical scopes
• An IFC export and NWC for coordination
• A brief clash-check report showing zero hard clashes against the latest architectural shell (I will provide the NWD)
• Updated sheet set with plan, section and 3D views for quick review
Acceptance criteria
• All structural members use the specified family library and are placed on the correct levels and grids
• Mechanical systems follow the given routing diagrams and maintain clearance zones noted in the 2D drawings
• No orphaned elements, duplicates or work-sharing errors when the model is audited
• File opens error-free in Revit 2023 and aligns to the shared origin
