Georgia Licensed Structural Engineer Needed
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
My small but busy residential design team regularly takes on new-builds, additions, and remodels throughout the state. To keep pace I need a Georgia-based, Georgia-licensed structural engineer who can slot straight into our workflow.
The work is almost strictly residential however lately we do have some commercial projects coming in. You’ll take a lead role in review and mark-up our plans, carry out scheduled site inspections when needed, drive QA/QC, and ultimately stamp the drawings and calculations that go to county officials and builders.
The design work can be delegated to our in-house drafters and designers so you’ll be acting as a senior overseeing their work.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential because our models and drawing sets live there. Field visits are expected albeit very occasionally, so residing in Georgia (and holding an active PE with structural authority in this state) is non-negotiable.
Typical deliverables:
• Fully coordinated, stamped structural drawing sets (PDF + DWG/RVT)
• Calculation packages ready for permitting
• Written site-inspection reports with photos and corrective actions
