Full Residential Construction Blueprints
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I’m ready to move from ideas to a permit-ready plan set for a new residential build on my already-secured lot (between 3,500-4,000 sq ft). What I need is the complete, start-to-finish blueprint package that a general contractor and local building officials can rely on without guesswork.
Scope
Please develop a coordinated drawing set that covers every major discipline—structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing. All sheets must align with current local code requirements and be delivered in both editable (DWG, RVT or similar) and print-ready PDF formats.
Key Deliverables
• Site plan showing setbacks, utilities and grading
• Foundation and concrete plans with footing details
• Framing layouts, wall sections and structural schedules
• Roof plan and truss/rafter details
• Full MEP package: plumbing risers, electrical layouts, panel schedules, lighting, HVAC ducting
• Exterior elevations, building sections and critical construction details
• Door, window and finish schedules
• Title sheet, general notes and code data summary
Acceptance Criteria
1. Drawings are dimensioned, cross-referenced and layered cleanly.
2. Files open error-free in AutoCAD or Revit.
3. Sheet index and revision block are complete.
4. Local permit office confirms the set is review-ready without major redlines.
If you’ve produced residential plan sets before and can work collaboratively on any tweaks my jurisdiction might request, I’d love to see samples of your work and hear your timeline to first draft and final issue.
