Foundation & Addition Structural Drawings
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I already have the design specs, load calculations, and preliminary sketches for a 1,200 sq ft addition that will sit on a new concrete block foundation. What I still need is a permit-ready set of structural drawings that covers the entire structure—from the footing layout through the roof tie-in with the existing house.
You’ll be working directly from my completed calculations and notes, turning them into clear, code-compliant sheets the building department and contractor can follow without questions. AutoCAD, Revit, or any equivalent professional CAD tool is fine as long as you supply both editable files and a plotted PDF set. Please allow for two quick revision cycles once the inspector reviews the first draft.
Deliverables
• Foundation plan showing footings, block stem walls, dimensions, and rebar schedule
• Floor and roof framing plans with member sizes and connection call-outs
• Key sections, details, and structural notes for the entire addition
• Title sheet and general material specifications
• Final PDF package plus native CAD files
When you respond, link to past residential structural drawing sets you’ve completed so I can gauge fit. Once I see relevant examples, we can kick the project off right away.
