UK Extension Planning Drawings

A complete set of architectural drawings is needed to secure planning permission for a new house extension in the United Kingdom. No previous plans exist, so the work begins from a clean slate—site measurement through to the final drawing pack.

The extension will add usable space across:
• Living/Dining Area
• Bedrooms/Bathrooms
• Kitchen

Scope of work
– Produce scaled floor plans, elevations, sections, roof and site/location plans suitable for submission to the local authority.
– Show existing versus proposed layouts and clearly annotate materials, heights, and key structural elements.
– Ensure all drawings meet current UK planning guidelines and are formatted at the standard 1:50 / 1:100 scales.
– Supply files in PDF for submission and DWG (or compatible) for future revisions.

Acceptance criteria
• Drawings are ready for direct upload to the planning portal without further edits.
• Dimensions, north point, scale bars, and ordinance survey references are included.
• All rooms listed above are accurately represented with natural light and ventilation notes where required.

Preferred tools: AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent BIM/CAD software—whichever delivers clean, editable files.

Once the final PDF set is approved, DWG originals are transferred to close the project.
