Expert Revit Designer Needed
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We are a commercial equipment layout and design company seeking a skilled AutoCAD draftsman with 3D rendering capabilities to assist in preparing project files for our clients. This is a support position working alongside our existing CAD developer to help keep up with project demand.
The Work:
You will be provided with:
• Existing AutoCAD files and/or PDFs from previous layouts.
• Examples of cleaned and formatted final deliverables.
• Company CAD standards and templates (layers, dimension styles, title blocks).
Your tasks will include:
• Cleaning and organizing raw AutoCAD files to match our standards.
• Producing final 2D layout sheets with annotations, dimensions, and consistent formatting.
• Generating 3D views/renderings from the layouts (SketchUp, Revit, or 3ds Max acceptable if consistent with our style).
• Following our existing drawing conventions and rendering style exactly.
Requirements:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Experience in 3D rendering for architectural or industrial layouts.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow a set design standard.
• Ability to work with tight deadlines and handle multiple projects at once.
• Excellent communication and responsiveness.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with industrial equipment layouts or architectural drafting, specifically in the automotive industry.
• Familiarity with Wire Crafters partitions, mezzanine designs, and equipment rack layouts.
• Knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or 3ds Max rendering workflows.
Sample Deliverables:
