Engineer Seal for Porch Plans

Job ID: 40556990

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have already submitted a set of porch plans to my city’s permit office, but they will not release the permit until a licensed engineer places a seal on every structural component of the concrete porch. The scope covers the entire load path—foundation, support columns, and roof structure—so I need a structural review rather than a quick stamp.

Right now I can give you PDFs and DWGs of the existing layout; they show dimensions and elevations but they lack the detailed structural notes, schedules, and calculations the reviewer is asking for. Your task is to examine those files, run or verify the necessary calculations, make any revisions you judge essential, and then return fully-compliant drawings bearing your professional engineer’s seal for my jurisdiction.

Deliverables
• Updated structural drawings (PDF + editable CAD) for foundation, columns, and roof
• Signed and sealed calculation package that satisfies current local code
• Final stamped sheets ready to resubmit to the city

If you typically work in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar platforms, that fits perfectly with what I can supply. Once I award the project I will forward the current plans, the plan-checker’s comment letter, and any soil or load data I have so you can get started right away.
