I have a small detached ADU—under 500 sq ft—going into my backyard, and the city will not issue a separate street address until they see a clear set of sketches. What I need is straightforward: a clean site-orientated drawing that shows the new unit’s footprint in relation to the main house, basic dimensions, and enough elevation information so the planning desk can confirm setbacks and access. These do not have to be full construction documents; just precise, professional, and ready for a quick approval stamp.
