Comprehensive MEP Drafting for Dubai Residence

1. Project Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freelance MEP Draftsman/Engineer (or specialized boutique outsourcing agency) to deliver a comprehensive, fully coordinated set of MEP Shop Drawings for a residential project in Dubai. The ideal candidate must possess extensive local experience and a proven track record of handling high-standard residential layouts and securing local authority approvals.
2. Scope of Work
The selected freelancer will be responsible for producing detailed, construction-ready shop drawings, including but not limited to:
HVAC Systems: AC ducting, ventilation layouts, and equipment positioning.
Plumbing Systems: Water supply (hot & cold) distribution and drainage networks.
Electrical Systems: Power supply distribution and lighting layouts.
Engineering Schedules: Preparation and calculation of DEWA Load Schedules.
Coordination Drawings: * Full MEP Combined Services Coordination.
High-Level (H/L) Coordination (managing ceiling voids and structural clearance).
Wall Coordination (containment, piping, and fixtures alignment).
Builders Work Drawings (identifying wall/slab openings, sleeves, and structural penetrations required for MEP services).
3. Candidate Requirements (Strict Criteria)
To be considered for this project, applicants must meet the following qualifications:
UAE Experience: A minimum of 3–5 years of active MEP drafting and coordination experience within the United Arab Emirates (specifically Dubai).
Dubai Residential Expertise: Deep understanding of Dubai’s residential construction standards, luxury finishes, and architectural spatial constraints.
Authority Compliance: Proficient knowledge of DEWA (Dubai Electricity and Water Authority) regulations, standards, and submission guidelines for load schedules.
Software Proficiency: Expert-level command of AutoCAD and/or Revit (BIM).
4. Submission Requirements
Interested freelancers must submit the following to be considered:
Company/Freelancer Profile: A brief introduction detailing your UAE experience and current setup.
Portfolio / Samples of Previous Work: * Note: This is mandatory. You must provide a sample package of previous Dubai residential projects demonstrating your work on Combined Coordination, Builders Work, and DEWA Load Schedules.
Financial Proposal: Estimated cost breakdown (per sheet, per square foot, or a lump-sum fixed price for the project).
Timeline: Estimated turnaround time for the first draft and final coordinated submission.
