Commercial Kitchen Exhaust Ventilation Drawings

Job ID: 39988610

Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

I’m fitting out a new pizza takeaway kitchen and need a complete set of technical drawings for its exhaust-only ventilation system. The space sits inside a small commercial detached commercial property, so the plans must make it clear how the hood, duct runs, fan location and roof penetration interface with the existing structure and services.

I will provide an architectural floor plan, equipment layout and any site photos you need. From there I’m expecting properly scaled drawings ready for both the landlord’s review and local council planning submission. AutoCAD or Revit is fine as long as the final package arrives in DWG and PDF.

Deliverables I need to sign off:

• Plan and elevation views showing hood positions, grease duct routing, clean-out access panels and exhaust fan placement
• Duct sizing and airflow calculations that satisfy current kitchen ventilation standards in my jurisdiction
• Section details for roof or wall penetration, including flashing and weatherproofing notes
• Basic schedule listing all major components (hoods, fans, odours control system ,dampers, silencers) with model numbers if known
• A brief compliance note referencing the relevant mechanical code edition you designed to

I’ll review for clarity, dimensional accuracy and code alignment; once those boxes are ticked, the project is complete. Let me know your typical turnaround time and which software you prefer so we can get started right away.
