Electrical Engineer Wanted for Construction Drawings
We are seeking experienced Electrical Engineers to design and prepare construction-ready / Issued For Construction (IFC) drawings for a three-level commercial building with a single basement. This development has had 1st stage permit/ council approval and now requires detail input and IFC drawings. Approved drawings are available in CAD and Revit.
Electrical Engineering Scope:
• Design incoming supply – SLD (single line diagram), estimated load schedule and capacity
• Tenant sub-metering and base-building metering strategy
• Power for mechanical plant and fire services
• Earthing, bonding systems and required power quality protection and monitoring, including solar energy monitoring.
• Lighting design (internal, external, carpark, facade) including controls
• Emergency and exit lighting integrated with fire alarm systems
• Communications & security infrastructure (comms rooms, cabling, CCTV, access control)
• Solar PV system design and integration
• Provision for EV charging and future energy systems
• Backup power systems (UPS / generator, ATS, essential services)
• Fire detection & alarm systems, smoke control systems including carpark exhaust and stairs
• Deliver design and calculations to comply with NCC and Australian Standards
