Commercial BIM Model with MEP
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I’m finalising the design package for a new commercial building and now need a complete BIM model built to LOD 300. The core of the assignment is modelling the full MEP systems—mechanical, electrical and plumbing—so that our consultants can run coordination and quantity take-offs without delay.
You’ll start from the 2D drawings and manufacturer data I supply (DWG/PDF). I’m working in Revit, so please structure the file with proper families, shared parameters and clean work-sets; IFC export must also be reliable, as it goes to other platforms in the team.
Key deliverables
• Revit (.rvt) model at LOD 300, fully configured for Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing disciplines
• Federated clash-free model ready for Navisworks review (NWC/NWD)
• Basic sheet set: plans, sections and schedules to demonstrate completeness
• Short hand-over report outlining families used, parameters and any assumptions made
Acceptance criteria
• All MEP elements placed in correct levels, zones and systems
• Naming conventions and parameters match the template I provide
• No unresolved inter-disciplinary clashes when opened in Navisworks Manage
If you’ve handled similar commercial projects and are comfortable delivering clean, data-rich Revit models, I’d be happy to share the starter files and timeline right away.
