Collaborative Open-Plan Office Design
Budget: €12 – €18 EUR
I’m planning a new open-plan workspace that actively encourages collaboration and creativity. The floorplate needs to flow, but still provide enough definition so teams feel they have their own territory when they gather.
Key points you’ll be working with:
• The primary goal is a collaborative environment, so sightlines and circulation paths should naturally pull people together rather than isolate them.
• Breakout areas are a must. Think informal lounge nooks, stand-up brainstorming corners, or small soft-seating zones that let teams peel off for quick huddles without booking a room.
• I’ll provide basic dimensions, any structural constraints, and brand guidelines as soon as we start.
I’d like to see:
1. At least two concept floor-plan options (PDF + editable CAD or Revit).
2. One refined layout with furniture blocks, adjacency diagram, and indicative occupancy numbers.
3. Mood board or simple 3D visualisation—SketchUp or similar is fine—to communicate look and feel of the breakout areas.
Accuracy of dimensions, functional adjacencies, and a clear rationale explaining your design thinking are the acceptance criteria. If you already have preferred ergonomic standards or sustainable material palettes, flag them; they’re a plus but not mandatory.
Timelines are flexible within reason, yet I’d appreciate an initial concept within the first week so we can iterate quickly.
