Church Floor Plan Drafting

I have already measured every wall, door, and window of the suite we’re renting for our church and snapped a full set of photos. The city now wants a scale drawing that shows exactly how we will use each room before they issue our permit. I need a drafter to turn my field notes into a polished, submission-ready plan.

Here’s what I’ll hand over: handwritten dimensions, a rough sketch, and reference pictures. Using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp—or any tool you prefer—translate that information into a clean architectural drawing. The drawing must:

• be delivered as a high-resolution PDF
• show room names and their exact dimensions
• illustrate our proposed furniture layout (stage, seating, offices, storage, etc.)

I’m not certain which graphic symbols the city insists on, so please apply standard North American architectural notation for doors, windows, and fixtures. If you see anything that might need a special symbol or legend, flag it early so we can confirm with the inspector.

Acceptance criteria for the final PDF
1. Drawn to an indicated scale (1/8" = 1'-0" or metric equivalent) and printable on both Letter and Tabloid sizes without loss of clarity.
2. All walls, doors, windows, and key fixtures placed within ±1" of the measurements I supply.
3. Each room labeled with its intended use and dimension lines clearly readable.
4. Proposed furniture arrangement shown in a way that distinguishes it from fixed construction.
5. Legible title block with project name, scale, north arrow, and your name/date as drafter.
