Canadian Multi-Family Building Drawings
Budget: $15 – $25 CAD
I need preliminary drawings for a residential multi-family building here in Canada. The package should cover three core areas: architectural design, structural design, and the essential electrical & plumbing layout.
Because we are still early in the process, I’m looking for concise, permit-oriented documents rather than a fully polished construction set. The emphasis is on accuracy and code compliance so the design can move smoothly into the next stage.
Deliverables
• Architectural: floor plans, key elevations, and a couple of building sections showing overall dimensions and room layouts.
• Structural: a framing layout that indicates main load-bearing elements and typical details sufficient for an engineer to refine later.
• Electrical & Plumbing: simple schematics and fixture locations that respect Canadian standards and coordinate cleanly with the architectural plans.
Please work in AutoCAD or Revit (whichever you are fastest with) and provide the files in native format plus PDFs for quick review. A short note on which Canadian code references you used will help me verify compliance.
If you have recent experience with Canadian multi-family projects, especially ones that progressed from concept to permit, I’d love to see a sample sheet or two.
