Automate Revit Navisworks Cost Takeoff

Job ID: 40359781

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I already have a detailed villa model in Revit and need it fully linked to Navisworks so that every quantity can be extracted straight from the BIM and rolled into a live cost report. The goal is a workflow where I can tweak the design in Revit, open Navisworks, and immediately see updated quantities and their corresponding costs without manual recalculation.

He prepares a construction schedule file in Oracle Primavera P6.

Here is what I expect:

• Configure the Revit–Navisworks link, including proper Shared Coordinates, Search Sets, and Property Sets so that walls, floors, finishes, MEP elements, and any custom families are all captured accurately in Quantification Workbook.
• Build automated take-off templates that push quantities to cost lines and keep them synchronized when the model is refreshed.
• Compile a unit-price library for the villa based on current market material costs; labour rates are outside this scope for now. I do not have preferred suppliers, so please rely on widely available price data from reputable regional or international vendors and provide citations for future updates.
• Deliver a clean cost schedule (Excel or Navisworks Quantification export) that updates in one click and clearly flags any missing price items.
He prepares a construction schedule file in Oracle Primavera P6.

Acceptance will be based on:
– Quantities in Navisworks matching Revit schedules within an agreed tolerance.
– Unit prices populated for every material line, sourced from recent market data and documented.
– Automatic cost recalculation demonstrated through a simple model change.

If you have solid experience with Revit, Navisworks Manage, and BIM 5D workflows, I’m ready to hand over the model and get started.
