Reverse-Engineer & Redesign Custom PCB
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a fully assembled circuit board but no original documentation—only a set of high-resolution photos taken from every angle. Your task is to reverse-engineer the board, finish and verify a complete schematic from those images, and then turn that verified schematic into a production-ready PCB layout.
Here’s what I’ll hand over:
• Clear, close-up photos of both sides of the board, component values visible
• Notes on the board’s intended behaviour and physical constraints (size, connector positions, mounting holes)
Here’s what I need back:
• A clean, fully annotated schematic (KiCad or Altium preferred, but let me know if you use another professional tool)
• A validated PCB layout that matches the original functionality while meeting basic DFM guidelines
• All manufacturing outputs—Gerbers, drill files, pick-and-place, and an updated BOM
I’ll confirm completion once the recreated board powers up and behaves like the original on my test bench. If you’ve handled similar reverse-engineering jobs before, especially where only photos were available, you’re exactly who I’m hoping to work with.
