Hotel Guest Software Replication
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I will provide full access to three Windows-based applications that our front-desk team currently uses for guest check-in, signature capture, and RFID key card encoding. I do not own the source code or back-end documentation, so the job begins with careful observation and reverse engineering of each program’s behaviour, data flow, and device interactions.
Scope of work
• Analyse the binaries, network calls, local data files, registry entries, and any hardware drivers to understand exactly how each feature works.
• Reproduce every visible screen, control, and workflow pixel-for-pixel so staff experience remains unchanged.
• Rebuild the underlying logic so the new executables perform the same tasks: create and update guest records, capture handwritten signatures, and write room-specific data to our existing RFID encoder.
• Package the three tools as stand-alone Windows applications that install cleanly without any need for the original software.
Acceptance criteria
– All functions available in the originals operate identically, including edge-case scenarios we will validate together.
– UI elements match the current layout and styling accurately; no modernisation or simplification.
– The new programs interact flawlessly with the same RFID encoder model we use at the desk.
– Source code, build instructions, and any reverse-engineering notes are handed over for future maintenance.
If you have a strong background in Windows reverse engineering, low-level device I/O, and rapid UI cloning (e.g., Win32/C++, .NET, or similar), this should be a rewarding project. Do not under bid and then hike up the price after chat. Must work within budget given in this project for all 3 application. Must require daily updates on the project and timeline for each software in one week. Write "Orange" in your proposal so I know you read entire project description.
